- Training will be provided to a successful candidate without prior experience in a Composites or Adhesives industrial environment.
- Support lab Risk Assessments (Task & Equipment based), writing and management of lab procedures, involvement in Continuous Improvement projects & 5S initiatives.
- Additionally - work on a variety of other tasks which may include: -
- Machine a variety of test coupons from panels in preparation for mechanical testing. Undertake related activities including specimen measurement, tab bonding & strain gauging.

- Computer literate with experience of using Google applications.
- Excellent knowledge of composite ply cutting, laminating, fabrication & machining processes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate good time management, self-prioritisation and motivation.
- Experience of working in a team environment.
- Experience in composite lamination and fabrication processes (Autoclave/RTM/VBO).
- Experience in paste and/or film adhesive test panel fabrication.
- Experience operating cutting & machining equipment such as Ultrasonic Cutter, CNC grinder, Vertical Mill Centre, Water Jet Cutter & Composite Plate Saw.
- Have a minimum of 5 GCSE/O-Levels at grade 4/C or above. Must include Maths, English and a Science subject.
- Must possess the ability to read and write in English; and comprehend technical documents.
- Two or more years working at an industrial/technology company.

The Aerospace & Defence Customer Technical Development (A&D CTD) team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its Wrexham Material & Testing Lab.
The M&T Lab has a key support role in delivering product test data for Aero & Non-Aero customer qualifications, product re-sites, product development, and problem investigation & resolution activities.
Reporting directly to the M&T Lab Leader, the grade and pay will be dependent on education, skills & experience. Working standard hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm), with the possibility of moving to a 2 or 3-shift work pattern.
