Pest Control Entomologist/Technical Specialist
Home Paramount Pest Control is seeking a Pest Control Entomologist/Technical Specialist to provide training and operational support services to our field offices in the Southern MD, and Northern, VA territories.
A Pest Control Entomologist/Technical Specialist's duties include, but are not limited to:* Insect identification.
* Knowledge of biology and behavior of structural pests.
* Deliver monthly training programs to branch offices in assigned region.
* Develop and deliver advanced and/or special training programs.
* Assist in the evaluation of new pest control products and pest management methods.
* Conduct quality control audits.
* Troubleshoot service issues.
* Monitor service programs and evaluate customer accounts.
The successful individual must be able to meet the travel requirements and demonstrate excellent communication skills and display a professional demeanor. A company vehicle is provided. Most travel does not require an overnight stay.
As a Pest Control Entomologist/Technical Specialist, we require you have the following:
* A Bachelor’s Degree in Entomology is required however, a Master’s Degree or higher in entomology, biology, life sciences or related field is preferred.
* Successful completion of company training programs and subsequent registration and certifications with the State Department(s) of Agriculture
* Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
