- Req#: 73992
- Performs work order assessment and completes the most complex of designs to meet internal/external customer needs and valid company requirements
- Coordinates planning, organization, and implementation of engineering projects with other operating or engineering units to facilitate assignment completion
- Produces a resource estimate (e.g. man-hours, materials, work type) necessary to execute the work
- Evaluates distribution system capability to serve new load while understanding and mitigating potential future impacts of the new load
- Provides and maintains cost-effective design while considering the impact to the customer and valid customer requests
- Leads project management initiatives and performs estimating and budgeting analysis
- Oversees all aspects of engineering design and permitting
- Works with other department within the organization to establish customer requirements and project cost
- Prepares communications, conducts meetings, and implements improvement measures
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- High School Grad / GED
Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience - Experience: 2+ years

Job Overview
Employees in this role provide project management and design services for distribution facilities. Individuals apply a diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields. This position acts as a single point of contact for projects in the area’s service territory and makes decisions independently regarding engineering complexities and methods. This role is responsible for proactive and reactive communication pertaining to project scope until customer is ultimately satisfied. The successful candidate must be highly knowledgeable and proficient in the design of the Distribution System, both in new construction and maintenance activities.
