Technical Project management experience;
Keep constant contact with key stake holders in the project;
Customer and end user interaction;
Support managing the contract scope;
Saab Subs Project coordination;
Technical customer support;
Technical Docs coordination and flow supervising;
Support to manage sub-projects and sub-suppliers;
Ensure that the customer receives the agreed system delivery with high quality and satisfaction;
Support to conduct meetings within the agreed collaboration model;
Attend customer meetings;
Support in planning of trials and tests;
Identify red flags in the project with mitigation scenarios;
Provide project related intel;
Platform integration Support;
Support of the software installation & integration process;
Support of the software test and verification process;
Academic/Technical, military or other relevant education.
Strong project management skills with a capability to drive assigned projects.
Experience and/or knowledge in Defence EW, SIGINT, Command & Control and Comms systems is preferred.
Good understanding of the Polish Army regulation, standards and requirements.
Possess a positive and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, strong business acumen and high personal integrity in business ethics.
Able to work independently with a strong personal drive.
Excellent social skills to build up and maintain interpersonal, business partner and customer relations. Act as a role model representing Saab towards partners/customers and stakeholders in order to strengthen the brand and profile.
Fluent in English and in Polish language.
Your skillset enables you to plan and coordinate effectively and efficiently to keep focus on priorities and deal with several complex issues simultaneously.
We are now looking for a Technical Support Manager to our new office in Gdansk.
Your role
As a Technical Support Manager (EW), you are responsible for coordinating, supporting, implementing and monitoring tasks within the assigned project related to shipbuilding for the Navy especially in the area of the delivery of EW and SIGINT systems (HW & SW). A Technical Support Manager have a clear responsibility for managing and supporting the technical areas of the project.
We are looking for a Leader with high cooperation qualities that can contribute with drive, enthusiasm, ability to communicate and clarify complex technical solutions and high interest in customer collaboration. We believe that you have a good understanding of Management of production, projects with a considerable amount of software and hardware content. Experience and/or knowledge in Defence EW, SIGINT, Command & Control and Comms systems is an advantage.
The role also involves supporting other Project Managers and team members within the assigned project to deliver the programme on time and on budget. You will report to the Deputy Programme Director Poland. The role requires an independent-minded person with high personal drive, willing to contribute as member of a wider team. You will be part of the project team which consist of people from Engineering departments and you will work in close contact with contract owners, product managers and system engineering managers.
Travelling including overnight stays in Poland is required. Travelling abroad, mainly within Germany, Denmark and Sweden, is required at least on a monthly basis.

This position requires that you will be approved in a security vetting in accordance to ISO:27001. A Personal Security Clearance (PSC) is required to fulfil the tasks for the role (SECRET/NATO SECRET is preferred).
