What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide advanced technical support to a global community of technical professionals and influencers
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Entra, GitHub, and Visual Studio Code
- Develop and maintain automation tools to improve support operations
- Analyze recurring issues, recommend solutions, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
- Assist with planning and supporting virtual and occasional in-person community events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience providing technical support in IT, software, or cloud environments
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including PowerShell, Azure administration, Entra, GitHub, and Dynamics 365
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts, tenant management, and server administration
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with technical professionals and stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting developer- or community-focused technical programs
- Prior experience creating, managing, or expanding a technical knowledge base
- Exposure to additional automation solutions
- Previous experience working with global, distributed teams
