If this excites you, then SAS Technical Training Services is the place for you! As a Technical Training Consultant, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with technical experts from across many divisions of the company to share new ideas, techniques, and approaches for developing and delivering training materials on a wide array of SAS software. You will work with leading edge software, tools, and resources to teach our customers how to solve their business problems.

      As a Technical Training Consultant, you will:

      • Build and apply expertise in programming, report development, analytical techniques, SAS technologies, and related open source and third party software
      • Deliver training to customers and partners. This training may be face-to-face or delivered virtually
      • Develop learning assets for e-learning, classroom training, and mentoring engagements
      • Record technical content and software demonstrations and post on internal or external sites
      • Collaborate with experts across many SAS divisions to develop and deliver custom training based on our customers business problems and specific technology needs
      • Directly assist customers who are using analytical enterprise-class, multi-tier software applications and/or solutions

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or other related quantitative field
      • 0-2 years of relevant work experience required
      • Academic or work experience with a programming language such as SAS, Python, R, etc.
      • Academic or work experience with computer science concepts, preferably in technology areas such as cloud platforms, application development, database management systems, data presentation and visualization, or web applications
      • Ability to travel to deliver training at SAS offices and on-site at customer locations
      • Excellent written (including techncial writing) and oral presentation skills, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with users with various technical backgrounds
      • Public speaking experience such as presenting papers or teaching
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Project and/or internship experience demonstrating individual and teamwork abilities
      • Experience programming with the SAS language
