      We are now looking for an experienced Technical Writers to work as a Specialists in our Technical Information team. Preferred locations are Espoo, Tampere or Lappeenranta. Other locations in Finland could be considered depending on the candidate’s profile


      Our mission is to provide an outstanding user experience with a safety-focused approach for both internal and external customers reading our technical documentation:

      - We ensure that technical information is available for project deliveries and to the installed base by cooperating with delivery organizations and product owners

      - We own the concepts for named technical information products, e.g., Instruction Manuals, Service Instructions, and Spare Parts catalogs

      - We provide support in content creation for Business lines and Delivery projects, e.g., in Manuals and Spare Parts catalogs creation, and in Translations

      As our new Technical Information specialist focused on Technical Writing, you will:

      • Utilize your experience in technical information to help us transition from traditional to digitalized documentation environment
      • Migrate content from old sources into a structured documentation environment to enable multi-channel publishingCreate instruction packages for equipment
      • Collect information related to technical data, installation, operation, maintenance and safety matters to create concept-based instructions
      • Ensure that our documentation complies with the Machinery Directive or other regulations used in project
      • Coordinate translation activities
      • Provide relevant support for all stakeholders
      • Share your own expertise in projects concerning contents
      • Participate in risk analysis of equipment and document residual risks in the user documentations
      • Participate in other tasks such as terminology management, tools and process development
      • Produce deliverables (paper prints, online and offline publishing) with our partners

      To succeed, you will need:

      • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering or M.A or other suitable degree
      • Knowledge of structured (modularized) documentation including experience in content migration
      • Knowledge of standards of technical information
      • Knowledge on relevant directives, e.g. EN ATEX or PED
      • Self-motivated approach and ability to work independently
      • Ability to pay high attention to details to ensure high quality of work
      • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
      • Experience in project work
      • Good skills in O365 environment, experience of FrameMaker is an asset
      • Understanding of technology, customer needs, project’s needs, processes and services
      • Fluent spoken and written English and Finnish, other languages are an asset
