The Technical Writer I authors and manages the development and approval of work instructions and technical documentation for wind turbines, solar, storage, and other clean energy technologies. Works closely with engineers, technicians, and safety specialists to gather requirements and procedures, and gain approvals. Learns and becomes an expert in the application of both proprietary and commercial document management systems in use and under development. May support requirements gathering, planning for other departments, system improvements, database analysis, and organization using metadata and AI tools, document classification, and policy development for document management across departments with shared requirements and responsibilities.
