What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the technical publication team to integrate source data into existing technical publications using FrameMaker
- Revise and write standardized materials for various technical documents, including manuals and reports
- Organize and complete writing assignments according to established standards for clarity and terminology
- Assist in layout and publication processes, including typing and distribution of materials
- May assist in writing speeches and articles related to work methods and procedures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of general editorial experience, including proficiency in punctuation and grammar
- Two (2) years of specialized experience in editing military manuals and specifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance
- Experience with FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat DC Suite, PhotoShop, and Adobe Illustrator

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Technical publication experience with knowledge of NAVAIR standards
- Experience in writing, editing, or quality assurance of technical documentation using FrameMaker
- Ability to perform minor graphic edits using PhotoShop and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
