What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Compose, review, and edit technical documents, materials, and reports
- Research, develop, and disseminate information on organizing and presenting information
- Consult with staff on formats, graphics, and publication layouts
- Prepare responses to correspondence, reports, surveys, and questionnaires
- Maintain records, files, and revisions of work
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
- One year of full-time experience in technical writing, journalism, or communications work
- Working knowledge of editing documents using AP style or similar business style guides
- Knowledge of composing, organizing, and editing the work of others
- Advanced knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in editing documents using AP style
- Familiarity with technical writing in a professional setting
