What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create a variety of technical documents including user guides, service manuals, and troubleshooting guides
- Translate complex technical information into easily understandable content for non-technical audiences
- Conduct interviews with users and technical staff to gather information for documentation
- Organize ideas and concepts to produce concise and effective documentation
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical writing
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
- Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
- Proficiency in using authoring tools and creating workflows using Lucidchart
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in English, communications, journalism, technical writing, or a related field
- Proficient knowledge in PHP and .NET
- Experience as a subject matter expert with Enterprise Applications and Technical Architecture
- Ability to write for a highly technical audience using industry-specific concepts and terms
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities
