      Description

      Radiology Ltd., a 500-employee medical imaging company located in Tucson Arizona is seeking a Full Time Technologist Assistant at our St. Mary's location. We are a partner company of US Radiology Specialists. As Tucson’s hometown radiology practice, our mission is to provide compassionate care and superior medical imaging services to patients, providers, and healthcare organizations.

      Hours for this Position: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM

      The Women's Imaging TA will provide assistance to radiology staff for female patients obtaining mammograms, ultrasounds and other exams.

      Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:

      • Prepare patients for exams
      • Input accurate documentation from technologist history sheet into application for the radiologist
      • Must navigate multiple computer systems
      • Provide patient education for any exams they schedule and/or patients that are scheduled for a biopsy
      • Schedule patients for callback exams and biopsies
      • Call referring physician's office for doctor's orders
      • Assist technologists and radiologists with other duties as needed

      Qualifications


      Experience and Other Requirements:

      We are seeking candidates that have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the following:

      • High School diploma required
      • Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
      • Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflow
      • Ability to work on a team and seek out where help is needed
      • Responsible, reliable and dependable
      • Proficient in Windows based PC applications
      • Must be able to pass a General Skills Test
      • Prior medical office experience helpful (Medical Assistant training)
      • Bilingual is helpful but not required
