    • Installations of all new hardware

    • Work with Desktop & Device Specialist for installations of hardware and software in the building

    • Execute image refresh on all building devices

    • Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and operating system problems and questions that occur during daily use

    • Log and follow up on all open or pending service requests for the building to ensure resolution and escalate issues requiring further intervention through proper channels

    • Plan for building technology supply needs, order, and distribute the supplies as designated by supervisor

    • Maintain a building inventory of technology hardware as designated by supervisor

    • Maintain all technology, including computer labs for use on a daily basis and in accordance with district guidelines for student issued devices (where applicable)

    • Provide just-in-time support for staff members in the use of technology and a/v tools as identified by the district (including Interactive Projectors and Whiteboards, Microsoft products, Google portal, cloud storage tools).

    • Provide tech support for audio visual equipment

    • Provide tech support for district in-services and training sessions

    • Communicate with building administrator regarding technology issues

    • Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor of Academic Technology and/or Director of Technology

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 3-5 years’ Technology experience
    • Customer service experience
    • Basic computer skills
    • Familiarity with basic networking concepts
    • Troubleshooting skills
    • Organizational and time management skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Basic skills in Microsoft Suite; Google Suite

      Title: Technology Support Assistant
      Reports To: Supervisor of Academic Technology
      Takes Direction From: Director of Technology and Coordinator of Communication Media
      Schedule/Calendar: 7.5 hrs./day 37.5 hrs/week 12 month

      Summary: The Technology Support Assistant provides first level technical support and facilitates the implementation and daily use of technology within the school and/or building.

      Essential Functions:

      • High School Diploma or GED

      Light work: If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the individual sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. The incumbent should be able to exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
      Medium work: The incumbent should be able to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
      Heavy work: The incumbent should be able to exert up to 100 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
      Very heavy work: The incumbent should be able to exert in excess of 100 lbs of force occasionally, and in excess of 50 lbs of force frequently, and in excess of 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
