Position Information
The Lampeter-Strasburg School District is seeking an experienced and visionary Technology Director to lead and manage the district’s technology initiatives. This position is anticipated to be available May, 2025. Enrollment is approximately 2800 students, grades K-12. This individual will oversee all aspects of technology planning, implementation, and support, ensuring that our schools are equipped with innovative and secure digital solutions to enhance student learning and operational efficiency.
Requirements: Master’s degree in related field or experience in other related disciplines with a minimum of five years in technology management; understanding of the technology needs and expectations of a K-12 educational environment; strong record of budget management/projection/evaluation expertise; experience in networking, server configurations, audio/visual solutions, and educational software management; expertise in data privacy, cybersecurity trends and best practices in education; knowledge of student information systems, instructional technology tools, and data management techniques; familiarity with E-rate funding and technology procurement processes; experience managing physical security solutions (cameras, card access systems, visitor management); strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and lead a team.
