      This position is 40 hours per week including Saturdays

      BASIC FUNCTION:

      Represents the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner; providing prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing member transactions.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Utilizing Universal Financial Workstation, processes various member transactions including, but not limited to:

      • Cash withdrawals
      • cash deposits
      • loan payments
      • loan transfers
      • share to share transfers
      • draft deposits
      • visa payments
      • selling Money Orders
      • Obtains adequate member identification.
      • Ensures receipt of accurate and complete vouchers. Documents money received and disbursed.
      • Communicates directly with members:
      • advises prospective members of the advantages of Credit Union membership
      • sells and cross-sells on the advantages of Credit Union new and existing services
      • responds to questions and problems relative to member accounts and/or referring members to appropriate Department for handling
      • Responsible for daily balancing of all monies:
      • conducts trial balance
      • performs end-of-day balancing orders or returns money to vault to maintain authorized starting cash fund
      • Responsible for opening and closing of Universal Financial Workstation and maintaining proper security measures throughout the day.
      • Performs related duties and special requests as assigned. May include, but not be limited to: covering drive-thru window.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

      High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training.
