What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle incoming calls to address issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues
- Assist patients with updating billing information, establishing payment plans, and resolving payment inquiries
- Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education
- Engage in data entry tasks related to patient information and billing
- Support patient scheduling and registration processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical insurance setting
- Experience in a high-volume call center preferred
- Data entry skills
- Familiarity with Epic EMR is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience registering patients in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of laboratory billing processes
- Previous experience in a hospital or physician's office setting
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes
- Strong communication skills
