What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle incoming calls to address issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment inquiries
- Assist with updating billing information, establishing payment plans, and scheduling patient appointments
- Provide quality customer service through effective communication and education
- Research and resolve telephone inquiries from members or patients
- Ensure customer satisfaction by effectively addressing service needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
- Experience with medical insurance in a hospital or physician's office setting preferred
- Data entry skills required
- Experience registering patients and high-volume call center experience preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
- Experience in laboratory billing services
- Previous experience in a healthcare administrative role
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
