What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with clinical staff and doctors to provide patient care
- Room patients and check vital signs as part of the patient intake process
- Perform data entry into medical records systems to maintain accurate patient information
- Assist doctors and nurses with medical procedures and tasks
- Conduct blood draws, EKGs, and vaccine administration as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- General knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Basic understanding of anatomy and physiology, including medical terminology
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
