What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with financial planning and budgeting processes for the Cancer Center
- Process financial transactions and reimbursements accurately
- Analyze financial statements and reports to provide insights
- Collaborate with various departments to support financial activities
- Present financial information clearly and concisely in both verbal and written formats
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or budgeting
- Familiarity with Excel (basic required, intermediate preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment
- Working knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with post-award/grant management
- Prior experience in higher education finance
