What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with an admissions staff member to evaluate first-year applications
- Independently review high school transcripts, essays, recommendation letters, and other application documents
- Provide organized and thorough notations consistent with training
- Manage personal schedule to prioritize the expected volume of applications
- Maintain communication with AAP Admissions staff and be receptive to feedback
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Well-developed computer skills and adaptability to new technology
- Strong ability to manage time independently
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in selective college admissions or employment at a highly selective university
- Understanding of the value of higher education
- Experience handling a high volume workload and meeting deadlines
