What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate, analyze, design, implement, and evaluate information management systems across the District
- Assist in the development and implementation of goals, priorities, and policies for information management
- Administer network systems, file servers, and multi-user computer systems
- Conduct special studies and projects related to telecommunications and network systems
- Develop and maintain network security and disaster recovery plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, mathematics, or a closely related field
- Two years of experience in systems design and analysis, systems programming, or network and systems administration
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft-focused endpoint management and administration
- Proven ability to troubleshoot Windows endpoint issues at an advanced level
- Familiarity with IT service management practices, including incident, problem, and change management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting and managing Windows-based endpoints in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for comprehensive device management
- Microsoft certifications such as Intune Administrator Associate or Azure Administrator Associate
- Familiarity with virtual desktop solutions like Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows 365
- Proven ability to create clear, usable technical documentation for IT staff and end users
