- Teach online courses in aerospace and mechanical engineering, tailored to your qualifications
- Develop and enhance undergraduate and graduate programs
- Maintain an active research profile and seek funding opportunities
- Mentor students and provide academic support
- Participate in university service and attend mandatory college meetings and events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related engineering or science discipline
- Ability to teach existing courses related to the candidate’s discipline
- Strong publication record and potential to secure research funding
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to mentoring students and contributing to university service
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Expertise in advanced air mobility, aircraft design, propulsion, and flight mechanics
- College-level teaching experience, particularly in an online environment
- Research experience in educational pedagogy
- Experience with active military and veterans
- Past work experience in a national research lab and/or industry
