      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and teach courses in Technical Writing and related fields, primarily delivered online
      - Contribute to curricular redevelopment of high-enrollment courses within the College of Arts & Sciences
      - Engage in departmental initiatives focused on critical artificial intelligence studies and science communication
      - Participate in service responsibilities on departmental, college, and university committees
      - Foster student learning in AI-mediated and technology-intensive professional environments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Ph.D. in Technical Writing, Rhetoric and Composition, English, Communication Studies, or a related discipline
      - Demonstrated expertise in technical and professional communication, ideally in engineering, aviation, or aerospace contexts
      - Evidence of excellence in teaching technical or professional writing, particularly in online formats
      - Ability to integrate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence tools, into communication pedagogy
      - Active research agenda or professional experience in technical communication or related fields

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience or interest in aviation, engineering, or aerospace communication
      - Strong potential for teaching excellence in technical, scientific, or professional writing
      - Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration across aviation, engineering, and technology fields
