What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and analyze territory dynamics to develop effective business plans and sales strategies
- Develop and manage assigned accounts to drive revenue growth and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Maintain regular communication with customers and schedule sales calls to address their needs
- Utilize CRM tools for opportunity management, forecasting, and maintaining customer records
- Collaborate with team members including Product Managers and Application Scientists to achieve sales goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Life Science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.)
- At least 5 years of experience in molecular and/or laboratory pathology sales or field-based customer support
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or key performance indicators
- Reside in Texas, with a preference for Houston (consideration for Dallas or Austin)
- Familiarity with existing academic, NCCN, corporate, and government accounts in the region
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment
- Strong knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role within the life sciences industry
- Established relationships with key stakeholders in the region
- Ability to deliver technical presentations to diverse audiences
