What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Actively pursue new sales opportunities in the laboratory water purification market
- Develop and implement a territory business growth sales plan
- Manage an established customer base while seeking to expand sales
- Provide monthly sales updates and overviews regarding territory performance
- Travel approximately 60% of the time to meet with customers across North Carolina and potentially expand to other states
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience
- Technical background in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Medical Technology, or Environmental Engineering
- Proven track record of driving business growth with a hunter mentality
- Strong networking skills and organizational abilities
- Experience with Salesforce (CRM) to manage leads and sales records
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience selling water purification systems or working through distributors
- Familiarity with laboratory environments and customer needs in this sector
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
