      Description

      Position Summary:

      The Territory Sales Representative drives sales growth and strengthens customer relationships

      within an assigned territory. This entry-level role is perfect for a motivated, self-starter passionate about the automotive aftermarket. The position involves significant travel to engage with Distribution Centers (DCs), Independent Stores, and Warehouse staff, ensuring alignment with retail team goals.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Territory Ownership: Build and maintain strong relationships with DCs, Independent Stores, and Warehouse staff.
      • Sales Growth & Market Share: Identify opportunities to drive sales through product placement, promotions, and customer engagement.
      • Customer Support: Provide excellent service by addressing customer needs and assisting with inventory management.
      • Sales Training: Conduct sales training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling confidence
      • Promotion: Help support any and all programs and specials. Continually drive awareness on the availability and benefits of WAI products within our distributors stores.
      • Market Insights: Gather and report insights on competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
      • Brand Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, training events, and customer meetings.
      • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with retail sales, marketing, and distribution teams to achieve business objectives.
      • Field Presence: Travel regularly within the territory to meet customers and drive results.


      Requirements

      Qualifications & Requirements:
      • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
      • Experience: 1-3 years in sales, retail, or customer service.
      • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with North American Distributors and Parts Retailers.
      • Technical Skills: MS Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Power BI or analytical software preferred.
      • CRM Experience: Salesforce.com or similar CRM experience preferred.
      • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Languages: Fluent in English; Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
      • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 75% within the territory.
