What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure they meet organizational standards and user requirements
- Develop and recommend in-depth testing strategies for internal and external clients
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create detailed test plans and conditions for software testing
- Maintain and interpret testing methodologies and compliance standards related to payment card industry security
- Provide expertise in the creation of test reports and follow defects through to resolution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software testing
- Knowledge of relational databases and the bankcard industry
- Experience with IBM Rational tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Typically, 8+ years of relevant experience in software testing
- Skills in test automation using Selenium/Java and API testing
- Experience with manual web application testing and performance testing using JMeter
