We are looking for a Test Run Manager to join our Customer Delivery team in Testing & Validation, R&D and Engineering organisation. Customer Delivery, Testing & Validation is responsible for testing Customer projects (W20, W31, W32&W34 and W46 engines) in Wärtsilä Vaasa testing facilities according to Classification rules and internal directives.

The position is permanent and located in Vaasa, Finland.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a single point of contact toward Customer and Wärtsilä Project Team regarding testing related questionsand issues
• Customer care during the visit including hosting and Company introduction.
• Ensures that the preparation of the Factory acceptance Test/Product conformity test is done on time
• Ensures the Factory Acceptance Test is done according to the requirements (acceptance criteria)
• Ensures that all the requested tests are done according to specification
• Prepares the FAT protocol (Specific performance document that need to be created and signed by the classificationsociety and Customer representative)
• Close co-operation with Project team, Test Engineer and Test Teams during test period
• Technical consult regarding non-standard test request
• Testing and Validation organization representative in Delivery Centre project team.
• Identify and mitigate any potential risk concerning customer experience
• Resolution owner in Test Run session quality report

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in engineering or equivalent education
• Minimum 5 Years of experience working in technical environment
• Ability to work in multicultural working environment
• Proven track record in Customer’s interaction and a customer centric approach
• Good communication skills both in internally and externally
• Quality oriented mindset
• Ability and willingness to work in flexible working hours.
• Fluent written and spoken English
