      CLOSED ON MONDAYS

      Lunch and dinner shifts available Tuesady-Sunday with the additional brunch shift on Saturdays and Sundays.

      Salary/Wage Range:

      Hourly $12.00 to $40.00

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      This fun, neighborhood hot-spot is looking for another member to join our front-of-house team. Come and work for one of Madison's newest breweries and restaurants on Park Street, just a short walk away from campus. We serve lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch so you'll have a variety of shifts to work with your schedule. We're looking for excited individuals who can turn a meal into an enjoyable dining experience. Bartending and serving postions available and on the job training is provided so no experience is needed!

      Server:

      • Greeting and seating customers
      • Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
      • Making menu item recommendations
      • Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
      • Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality
      • Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
      • Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessary
      • Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area

      Bartender:

      • Greeting and seating customers
      • Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
      • Making menu item recommendations
      • Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
      • Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality
      • Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
      • Verify identification and age requirements of customers
      • Mix traditional and creative cocktails
      • Process payment from customers
      • Clean glasses and bar utensils
      • Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
      • Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
      • Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
      • Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere

      Qualifications:

      • Must be able to be on their feet for many hours
      • Must be able to communicate with other humans
      • Must be able to breath
      • Must like people or at least fake it well enough
      • Must be able to carry plates, bowls, cups, and a variety of other dishes
      • Oh and cutlery, you must be able to carry and handle cuterly
      • Must wash their hands after using the restroom
      • Must enjoy working with a fun group of people
