Job Description
- Req#: 7554
- Create file folders for each transaction and assign AIM file numbers in sequence.
- Maintain and generate files for the department. Maintain log of all transactions and corresponding file numbers. Maintain a basic knowledge of title policy guidelines.
- Type title commitments and endorsements.
- Answer all incoming phone calls and direct calls to appropriate party in a professional manner.
- Produce the title policy and endorsements.
- Provide clerical assistance as required, including but not limited to, daily filing, photocopying, and mailing.
- Monitor supply needs and confirm all supply orders with supervisor

Position Summary
We are seeking a Title Assistant to join our American Home Title team. Incumbent responsible for review and examination of title searches, ordering title search products or performing search of public records, inputting required contract data into title production software; oversees production of the title commitment package, including review and execution of same; monitors file closings and oversees production of final policy and package, including review and execution of same and delivery to appropriate parties.

1-2 years title experience (preferred, but not required)
Detail oriented
Must be able to prioritize and multitask.
