What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate and write new funding agreements while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Monitor project compliance and performance through progress reports and site visits
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to promote funding options for toxics reduction
- Identify and address issues affecting project scope, schedule, or budgets
- Develop and implement program improvements, including templates and guidelines for compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Nine (9) years of experience in environmental-based work or related activities
- Demonstrated experience in project management, regulatory compliance, and contract management
- Proven ability to engage with partners and provide outreach and technical assistance
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Education in environmental, physical, or natural sciences, or related fields

- Knowledge of best management practices for toxic reduction and water quality protection
- Experience in writing clear scopes of work and action plans
