- Operations Lead considered as highly experienced and knowledgeable resource within the organization in implementing and maintaining manufacturing processes.
- Monitors processes and manufacturing operations.
- Communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of management, peers, and key stakeholders, including timely escalation of quality issues.
- Provide guidance, insight and training to the team and the wider business around operations standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and drive adherence to key factory output metrics including: OEE, yield, headcount, downtime readiness, quality metrics, and overall output.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, IT, Facilities, and TPM (Third Party-Manufacturer) personnel to streamline operations.
- Identify and quantify improvement projects to support reaching maximum output capacity in your specific area.
- Ensures proper sequence of operations and prepares specifications and operating procedures for processing personnel.
- Ensures processes and procedures comply with regulations.
- Accountable for corrective and preventive actions and investigation management.
- Helps to troubleshoot and solve manufacturing problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
- Maintains and presents factory performance data to senior leadership on a minimum monthly basis.
- Supports design development activities for product improvement and NPI activities.
- Experience of development in Microsoft Power Apps would be considered an advantage.
- Operational Excellence experience or Lean / Six Sigma training would be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (such as engineering)
- 5-6 years' work experience

The Opportunity
As a TPM Operational Lead, you will apply subject matter knowledge in the medical device manufacturing process. Requires capacity to drive improvements, and establish metrics to measure performance, influence personnel within the context of a third party manufacturing environment.
This position works out of our Austin, Texas location in the in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division, where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology

The base pay for this position is
$60,000.00 – $120,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
