What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist local, regional, and global trade teams with import and export compliance activities, focusing on Tariff Classification
- Ensure timely and compliant flow of goods and technology through effective trade compliance
- Analyze products for tariff and export control classifications, documenting rationale clearly
- Monitor changes in US and MX trade and export regulations to apply them to classification practices
- Support the business in creating compliant customer solutions for existing and new customers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent work experience
- Intermediate computer skills including Google Workspace or MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Access)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate decision-making and problem-solving skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of General Rules of Interpretation (GRIs), Section/Chapter Notes, and Explanatory Notes
- Familiarity with US Export Controls and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- Experience with CROSS rulings and Informed Compliance Publications
