Job Description

- Receive the daily preventive and corrective maintenance program of the facilities. Executes work orders based on assigned priorities of work and ensure provide daily feedback on work status. Organize /supervise third party service providers in relation to Terminal PMS
- Fill in all requisite information in the receipts or forms to such end, including the activities performed, the time consumed by such activity, the materials used and any observations that he/she may consider appropriate to include.
- Leave the work area free from materials, tools and/or surpluses.
- Request tools and/or materials in advance to the Shift Supervisor.
- Assist in the reception of fuel shipments, according to the functions entrusted by the Terminal Superintendent in order to perform the operations as scheduled.
- Participate in all training courses scheduled by the Superintendence of the Terminal, as well as in all contingency / emergency drills.
- Comply with company requirements and systems relating to SAPS, HSEC & Quality and other company policies.
- Comply with any other task entrusted by the Terminal Superintendent within the operations of the facilities
- Mechanical or Fitter-Machinist Trade Certificate;
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant post-apprenticeship work experience, preferably in the downstream aviation - petroleum industry or completion of apprenticeship with major oil & petroleum companies;
- Knowledge of aviation/oil industry machinery and mechanical plant and equipment,
- Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to maintain, trouble-shoot and repair mechanical equipment
- And perform routine preventive maintenance to according to aviation site schedule;
- Proven safety track record;
- Computer Skills (MS Office)
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Possession of a recognized mechanical PETT and Trade qualification would be desirable
- Good communication skills;
- Current driver's full license is required;

- Must be organized and methodical and be a high consistent performer with sound and responsible work habits & practices;
- Able to effectively and accurately perform mechanical repairs, replacements and product testing as required and according to standards

Main Purpose:
