What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Customs Entry and Audit teams in conducting audits focused on broker compliance and tariff classification
- Assist with post-entry activities, reconciliation programs, and import recordkeeping requirements
- Participate in the development and maintenance of internal controls, procedures, and SOPs
- Monitor shared team inboxes and manage daily correspondence with internal and external partners
- Provide reporting and analytics support related to import and customs activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- 2–4 years of experience in import compliance or customs brokerage
- Strong familiarity with U.S. customs entry data and import documentation
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple compliance tasks
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- U.S. Customs Broker License
- Experience auditing customs entries, tariff classification, or other import data
- Supply chain or trade compliance experience within a retail environment
