- Perform preventive maintenance, including filter changes and equipment inspections
- Clean and sanitize HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment
- Install and replace HVAC systems
- Provide cost estimates for repair or replacement
- Maintain accurate inventory of truck supplies
- Complete daily work orders and necessary paperwork
- Follow all safety procedures and HVAC codes
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED (or similar education and experience)
- At least 2 years of HVAC or similar work experience
- EPA Section 608 Type II Certification (or get it within 6 months)
- Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Will be required to undergo a fingerprint based NCIC background check and must be able to obtain a security clearance from the Lee County Sheriff's Office and will be required to undergo a fingerprint based criminal background check and must be able to obtain security clearance from the State's Attorney Office in addition to the standard Consumer Report based background check that is required for all conditional offers of employment.
- You must be able to read building plans (blueprints)
- You need to know HVAC codes and how to use tools safely
- You must be able to climb ladders, crawl in small spaces, and lift up to 60 lbs
- You must work in hot or cold weather, rain or shine
- Work days: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- You must be on-call for one week at a time (on a rotating schedule)
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. This role focuses on the preventive maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) systems. Work includes regular inspections, cleaning, and repairs, as well as new system installations.Work Schedule:
