      Job Description

      Supports Front Office trading desks. Responsible for trade capture and resolving trade discrepancies. Liaises between trading, trade support, sales, counterparties, risk, operations, and compliance. Participates in the introduction and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new initiatives, systems, and process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance controls. Handles ad hoc requests from clients and the desk. Requires product knowledge of financial instruments relevant to the area supported and across related asset classes.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Assisting the trading team in executing foreign exchange (FX), fixed income and over-the-counter (OTC) derivative transactions, including confirmations, risk limits, reporting and analytics
      • Supporting trade capture and resolving trade discrepancies
      • Collaborating with senior desk heads, compliance, supervision, and risk to ensure procedures are compliant and up to date

      Requirements:

      • In depth knowledge of currencies, fixed income and over-the-counter (OTC) derivative products
      • Familiarity with trade capture, documentation, settlement processes, and other requirements (regulatory, market risk, credit) for trading various FICC products
      • Basic understanding of FICC regulatory environment and industry initiatives
      • Strong sense of urgency with ability to multi-task heavily

      Desired Skills

      • 2+ years of trading floor or operations experience
      • Be a “doer” as well as a “thinker” and demonstrate an ability to drive projects / tasks to completion
      • Self-starter with outstanding problem solving skills. Excels at ‘getting things done’ with minimal direction
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong operational processing and risk control skills including the ability to build well-controlled spreadsheets and source appropriate and meaningful data
      • Be enthusiastic, keen to learn and quick to gain an understanding of complex issues and concepts
      • Take personal responsibility for delivering high quality work and have a track record of outperformance and delivery
      • Be able to design and produce insightful regular reports and drive continuous improvement in these reports
      • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment – both work closely with senior members of the team and work independently
      • Operates with urgency at all times

      Enterprise Job Description:

      • Supports sales and/or trading desks. Responsible for trade capture and resolving trade discrepancies. Liaises between trading, trade support, sales, counterparties, counterparty credit, operations, and compliance
      • Provides direct support to traders on the floor
      • Responsible for trade capture and trade activity reporting
      • Advises traders of position adjustments and/or discrepancies. Reviews trade sheets/tickets
      • Tracks and verifies trades and checks accuracy of processed trades
