      Our Claims Training and Development team is looking for a intern for a year long (948 hour) internship beginning Spring Semester 2025. In this role, you will contribute to an important project focused on capturing and preserving valuable organizational knowledge. Throughout the internship, you will deepen your understanding of training and development responsibilities, gain insight into business processes, and help drive improvements in an agile organization. You will support daily operations, conduct research, gather data, and learn how to analyze that data to make business recommendations.

      Responsibilities & Qualifications

      During this internship, you can expect to:

      • Interview experienced claims professionals to capture organizational knowledge and best practices.

      • Learn about the content governance strategy for our policies and procedures and how to implement strategy.

      • Shadow the Training and Development team as we collaborate with key stakeholders on process creation, implementation, management, analysis, and measurement.

      • Provide general and administrative support during the preparation and implementation phases of our annual claims trainee program.

      • Analyze current processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement to help support training needs.

      It’s required that you:

      • Are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program through the entire duration of the internship.

      • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities

      • Work independently and collaboratively within a team

      It would be great if you:

      • Have previous work experience of greater than three months and/or experience with student organizations, or similar

      Internship details:

      • Duration: 42 weeks; January 20 – November 21, 2025

      • Location: Austin, TX; in-person; potential for limited remote work

      • Hours: 20 hours per week in Spring and Fall, 32 hours per week in Summer

      Texas Mutual Pay Transparency

      The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Your recruiter can discuss the full value of our total compensation package with you, including our generous bonus plans and flex-hybrid work model.

      Base Pay Range: $23.95 - $29.59 Per Hour
