      Job summary

      The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. Further information about our work and annual plan for delivering this is available on our website.

      The post holder will work as part of the NHS Counter Fraud Authority Digital Forensics Unit , within the Operations Directorate, whose responsibility is to investigate allegations of fraud bribery and corruption in the NHS. The successful applicant will assist in the training of investigators using the DFU's eDiscovery review platform. The successful applicant will support DFU operations by performing technical and quality processes to maintain service efficiency and ensure maintenance of the units' accreditation.

      Main duties of the job

      Deliver training to both internal and external investigators on utilising the DFU's e-Discovery Platform, FTK Central, in compliance with NHSCFA procedures.

      Assist investigators in the usage of the e-Discovery platform to ensure effective investigation of digital material in compliance with operational and legislative guidelines.

      Deliver further training and inputs regarding digital forensic best practice, seizure of digital exhibits and development of digital forensic strategies.

      Represent the NHS Counter Fraud Authority in meetings and training sessions with external agencies.

      Provide advice to investigators regarding evidence acquisition and ongoing processes for identification, coding and reporting of evidence.
