      Job Description

      The primary function of this position will be to develop and implement high quality engaging learning modules, including instructor-led, and/or web-based trainings. These modules will be imparted to Westgate team members working within various levels of the organization, to improve their skills and effectiveness.

      Duties

      • Collaborate with subject matter experts and team mates to develop educational resources including, but not limited to, training manuals, courseware outlines, storyboards, graphic requests, instructional videos, scripts, games, assessments, and interactive documents to build new training or supplement existing curriculums
      • Ensure quality, accuracy, and functionality of all written, graphics, and audio content
      • Develop evaluation tools that measure the knowledge, retention, and performance of all trainee’s, to ensure effective learning transference
      • Critically problem-solve any challenges that may arise, with internal and external resources, to find resolutions that will enhance the student experience, training effectiveness and reduce the length of training
      • Stay relevant with industry standards updates and new developments, learning theory, adult learning methodologies, new software’s, and methods, to apply best practices to our companies existing processes

      Qualifications

      • Superior time management, organizational and project management skills.
        • Manages multiple task/priorities simultaneously.
        • Establish own work priorities while still contributing to team, department and/or business results.
      • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
      • Strong quality assurance/editing skills.
      • Flexibility in dealing with a fast-paced, changing environment.
      • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
      • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

      Experience:

      • Two (2) years of curriculum development experience required and/or
      • Two (2) years of educational technology and e-Learning software experience required and/or
      • Two (2) years of Learning Management System experience required.
      • Hospitality, timeshare or sales and marketing experience a plus.

      Education & Certifications:

      • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field required.

      Skills/Knowledge:

      • Proficient experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline 360 required.
      • Proficient experience in graphic design preferred.
      • Proficient experience with video editing and animation software such as Camtasia and Vyond preferred.
      • Proficient video production, editing and audio narration experience preferred.
      • Computer programming experience and knowledge of web languages, HTML, JavaScript, etc. preferred.
