What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage a team of training specialists for onboarding, continuing education, and customer training
- Develop and document training programs tailored to contractual obligations and specific customer needs
- Create and maintain comprehensive clinical training for HEDIS measure abstraction and risk adjustment coding
- Set and enforce training standards to ensure instructional quality and consistency across the training team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training with evolving tools and business strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- RN or LPN degree required
- Coding certification required (e.g., CPC, CRC, CCS-P, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HEDIS abstraction and risk adjustment coding
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing HEDIS abstraction in a health plan or medical record review vendor setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Proven ability to mentor and evaluate trainers in facilitation and learner engagement
- Hands-on experience creating blended learning solutions, including eLearning modules and assessments
- Proficiency with instructional tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline and LMS platforms
- Strong project management skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment
