      Our Laverton CDC plays a key role in supplying VIC with produce, we are looking for a Training Specialist to join the DC team on a permanent basis.


      About the role

      In partnership with the DC Manager - Laverton, you will support with the development and implementation of a detailed annual training plan. You will also insure that team members are empowered through a combination of mandatory and optional training programs. As a Training Specialist, you will deliver important training materials in an engaging way.

      You will

      • Prepare training documentation and help implement across site, coaching shift leaders on their training responsibilities
      • Keep accurate training records and ensure site leadership are maintaining accurate records
      • Support with coordination of all site induction programs and ensure that all new team members are compliant on all aspects of training
      • Continually monitor and update training materials, accounting for seasonal activities
      • Be a champion for safety on site being available for consultancy and drive a positive culture for team members

      You have

      • Coaching and leadership experience
      • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment
      • Demonstrated experience in assessing training needs and the ability to develop and annual training plan
      • A high level of organisational skills with a focus on planning, ensuring key deadlines are met
      • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, being able to manage expectations to senior management
      • Advanced computer skills with the ability to produce materials and develop training information
