- Ensure training compliance at Idahoan Foods by administering, organizing, and conducting company training programs as well as assisting to maintain company SOPs at site level
- Responsible for facilitating training and managing training records using multiple digital learning management systems
- Confirm regulatory compliance by administering assessments and other training related tasks
- Support the on-site team with Skills Validation process (both training and program administration)
- Partner in the execution and maintenance of New Hire Orientation Program
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete employee personnel files with high level of confidentiality
- Demonstrate effective leadership skills and serve as mentor to new hire and in-promotion employees
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Education – Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience - 3+ years of relevant HR experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
- Technical Writing – Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, and SOP content
- Facilitation – Strong facilitation skills and ability to connect with adult learners for knowledge transfer and retention
- Project Management – Oversee the delivery of Skills Validation Program across multiple departments and operational facilities
- Learning Management System – General acumen in LMS administration, reporting, assignment, and utilization
- Communication – Build strong stakeholder relationships at multiple organizational levels as well as connect with Idahoan employees
- People Management – Strong planning, organizational development, and problem-solving skills

Job purpose
The Operations Training Specialist will aid in the design and implementation of programs for operations training and employee assessment. This role will work closely with, and report to, Idahoan’s Talent Development Manager. Additionally, they will work alongside Idahoan’s leaders in operations to identify tactical and job-specific training needs and create strategic solutions for improving both skills and engagement across the entire organization.
Proven experience with, and success in, CPG, food manufacturing, adult learning theory, content delivery, and organizational development practices, are key to success in this role.
