      Description

      Devereux Advanced Behavioral health has an immediate opportunity for a seasoned Training Specialist to work onsite to train employees.

      Schedule: Non-Exempt role, Monday - Friday 8am-4pm, with one 2 hr Saturday training every 3 months, with flexibility

      Starting at $22.49/hour up to $26.64/hour depending on higher education and years of experience in the field.

      $1,000 Sign on bonus

      Provides education and instruction to Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island employees with primary responsibility for the data entry, leading learning modules in orientation, organizing and leading monthly refresher trainings. Responsible to analyze learning data to help ensure compliance with Licensing, Funding Agencies, and Devereux learning standards. Will deliver instruction including but not limited to modules of Essential Skills, Safe and Positive Approaches, First Aid/CPR, Customer Service, Documentation, Client Handbook, Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, and Boundaries.

      Learning and Professional Development Manager and is located onsite in Rutland, MA.

      Qualifications

      Job Qualifications:

      • Must be 21 years of age or older.
      • Active driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required.
      • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
      • 1 year of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting required.
      • 2 years of experience as a trainer or presenter is preferred.

      Schedule:

      • Must be able to attend a 2 week paid orientation, which runs Monday-Friday, 8AM - 4PM in Rutland, MA
      • Schedule following orientation will be Monday-Friday, 8AM - 4PM
