What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide compassionate and respectful care to families during the transfer of deceased individuals
- Safely transport decedents from various locations to the funeral home
- Maintain accurate paperwork and comply with relevant laws and regulations
- Fill in for funeral attendants and drive hearse as needed
- Perform additional tasks such as vehicle maintenance and other projects as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift 100lbs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong composure, compassion, and professionalism
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to feedback
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a similar role within the funeral industry
- Certification in funeral services or mortuary science
