      Job summary

      A Transfer Press Specialist operates and maintains transfer press machines used in stamping and forming metal parts. These machines move parts automatically from one die station to the next within a single press, allowing multiple operations to occur in one cycle.

      Duties and Responsibilities

      Achieve acceptable scores on required aptitude tests Demonstrate mathematical ability, including converting between English and Metric units Understand machine computer functions, including experience with ARKU and PLC systems Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks Read, use, and understand various measuring devices accurately Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders with precision Apply knowledge of proper coil handling and loading/feeding materials into a press Safely operate a crane and move 30-ton dies Perform accurate Die Set operations and operate large bolsters or tables, including setup of transfer arms Set and manage programs for speed feeders and speed starkers

      Maintain an acceptable attendance and tardiness record Demonstrate physical coordination to safely lift and move products and tools Possess strong written and oral communication skills with keen attention to detail
