      Role Description

      Working within the FNZ Investment Operations Function you will be responsible for the processing and settlement of all financial transactions made by FNZ’s clients. The team is also tasked with processing corporate distributions and dividends, reconciling client positions and identifying and resolving fund issues. You will have the opportunity to work within different teams helping you to develop and gain all the skills and knowledge you need to progress in your career.

      The Transfers Officer is responsible for the management of assets transferring on and off the FNZ platform.

      Team Responsibilities:

      • Manage all Transfer processes efficiently and accurately via both electronic and paper processing

      • Ensuring all Transfer processes meet regulatory and industry standards.

      • Liaise with other Operational Teams in order to complete tasks and resolve any issues

      • Assist other team members with issues as and when required

      • Review and enhance operational processes on a regular basis

      • Maintain and create Transfer procedures

      • Interact with clients on a weekly basis

      • Actively manage and reduce any outstanding client queries and issues

      • Monitor and action Fund Manager Reports on a daily basis

      • Work closely with Business Risk Champions and Senior Officers to identify and manage operational risk

      Specific Role Responsibilities:

      • To transfer platform holdings in and out of FNZ custody on a daily basis.

      • Issuing Stock Transfer Forms to Fund Managers

      • Working with Electronic Transfer Solutions for Re-Registration

      • Ensure all accounts held by FNZ (UK) Nominees Ltd reflect accurate Transfer positions

      • Ensure that all platform assets are re-registered within KPI & SLA timeframes

      • Perform investigation on Transfer in and Out requests

      • Managing Pension Cash Transfers for both manual and electronic requests

      • Agree Trade & Settlement with counterparties and submitting requests to Broker/Crest

      • Support inbound calls from Corporate Clients and Plan Managers

      • Report team MI on a daily basis

      What we are looking for

      • Degree educated in a relevant subject

      • Experience of delivering an excellent level of service to customers - e.g., in a retail or contact centre environment

      • Experience in using Excel for data analysis

      • The ability to work accurately and to deadlines

      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

      • Knowledge of banking and Financial Services (desirable)

      • Able to demonstrate understanding of FCA regulations (desirable)
