- Support the commissioning of services for in line with the NHS long term plan, SY ICB and Rotherham Place Plan.
- Development and implementation of strategies/pathways to improve the health and wellbeing of Rotherham residents across the Rotherham Place, ensuring the patient voice is represented.
- Performance Management of service providers commissioned.
- Working with NHS Providers of acute, community and primary care, Social Care, Public Health and the local Voluntary and Sector with regards to the development and commission of services.
- Role model a collaborative and influencing style of leadership when working and negotiating with others to ensure best practice.
- Represent the Rotherham Place at meetings associated with projects undertaken by the post holder.
- Work with the key stakeholders and clinical leads to identify opportunities for service developments and changes based on feedback from people using services, needs assessments, guidance and benchmarking data.
- Lead, on the implementation of new pathways and services within own area of work and ensure they demonstrate appropriate governance frameworks and key performance indicators to measure service effectiveness and monitor quality.
- Lead delivery of service improvement schemes as appropriate in line with Rotherham place plans across health and social care.
- Draft and compile specifications which are consistent with commissioning/procurement guidance and legislation.
- Lead and undertake project work using project planning methods
- Lead and support the development and implementation of strategies/pathways to meet the priorities for improving the health and wellbeing of Rotherham residents. This will involve working in an integrated way with NHS/Adult Social Care partners and Third Sector Organisations to locally identify and support service development and redesign priorities.
- Lead the implementation of system/place strategies that interface and align with primary care networks as appropriate.
- Represent the Rotherham Place at meetings associated with projects undertaken by the post holder.

Job summary
NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board - Rotherham commissions health services for over 266,000 Rotherham residents. We are seeking to recruit a permanent Transformation and Delivery Manager within our Commissioning & Contracting team. This post supports the key functions of commissioning across health and social care, including performance management for a wide range of service providers.
We are looking for someone with highly effective negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships with a range of contractors and stakeholders.
