      SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team . The TransGas Customer Services Coordinator is responsible for reporting metrics, investigations, research, and analysis, and providing support and resolution to end users of TransGas’ Business System and other applications. This includes providing solutions and expertise to internal stakeholders and handling escalated calls from customers, data integrity, application maintenance and support, risk management and continuous improvement. This position leads the development of processes and enhancements to leverage efficiencies and improve the effectiveness of TransGas customer management.

      Core Responsibilities

      Processes and Systems

      • Assist with developing and maintaining data integrity standards for business systems.

      • Support the Pipeline Schedulers to ensure proper system and operational balancing on TransGas and interconnecting pipelines.

      • Take the lead on verifying, investigating, and resolving issues related to daily and monthly customer transportation contracts, measurement, storage, shipper balancing and gas allocations.

      • Monitor and track customer nomination performance, daily and monthly performance metrics, and review and analyze data to make recommendations on contracting and customer performance.

      • Participate in investigations and analysis of potential issues associated with contracts, invoices, nomination, measurement, allocation, and customer inventory.

      • Assist with the administrative tasks associated with managing business policies and programs, create and distribute regular customer communications related to programs, service offerings and various business changes.

      • Participate in the creation of new TransGas policies/procedures to improve performance in data integrity, department efficiency of customer gas accounts and/or statistical reporting.

      • Develop and maintain documents, templates, and tools to support daily operations, business policies and customer activities.

      Solutions Support

      • Work with end-users to understand and effectively assess business needs and requirements for business systems and applications.

      • Investigate process improvements and provide expertise in the development of new or enhanced system requirements.

      • Provide guidance, support, and assistance to business teams for technology related requests and/or potential system implementation, enhancements, or optimization.

      • Research and communicate opportunities to leverage software and enhance system integration for the use in management decision making and strategic development of TransGas Customer Services.

      • Assist in testing upgrades and enhancements to existing applications/modules and work with end-users to resolve system issues.

      • Develop documents, templates, and tools to support quality assurance and testing, maintain and execute active test cases and detailed test plans for user acceptance testing for system upgrades, enhancements, and interfaces.

      User Support

      • Provide 1st tier business support to end-users and internal team members, addressing inquiries and issues.

      • Investigate, test, resolve and escalate system defects and/or user errors within stringent deadlines.

      • Proactively investigate, verify, analyze, and resolve potential issues associated with contracts, invoices, nominations, measurement, allocations, storage, and customer inventory.

      • Analyze, generate, and test reports and end-user documentation ensuring information accuracy and timely delivery of requests.

      • Provide general knowledge transfer and system training for internal and external users where required.

      Qualifications

      • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Commerce.

      • Two (2) years’ experience in operations or the energy or utility sectors.

      • Two (2) years’ experience in data management, the operation of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.

      • Pre-Qualifying Assessment.

      OR

      • Diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology or Commerce.

      • Four (4) years’ experience utilizing the TransGas Business System.

      • Two (2) years’ experience in data management, the operation of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.

      • Pre-Qualifying Assessment.

      Additional Information

      • Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required on occasion.

      $39.05 ($5,939.51) - $43.49 ($6,614.83)
