The position will lead on a variety of efforts, including but not limited to: planning and design of capital improvement projects, regional collaboration projects, policy development, multimodal planning studies, representing the City of Minneapolis in projects led by other agencies, and leading transportation initiatives that advance City policies. The Transportation Planner position will help implement the projects and vision outlined in City’s Capital Improvement Program and the adopted Transportation Action Plan and Racial Equity Framework. The position will manage and deliver a wide range of citywide and regional transportation projects that align with the City’s Complete Streets Policy and commitment to Vision Zero.
